Pima Varieties

Product Description
PHY 800 Most widely planted conventional Pima variety in 2007 with outstanding yield potential and excellent fiber quality. Only commercial Pima available with tolerance to Fusarium Race 4.
PHY 830*       New conventional Pima variety with good yield potential and excellent fiber quality. Matures five to six days earlier than PHY 800; adapted more for the northern San Joaquin Valley.

PHY 745 WRF WideStrike® Insect Protection and Roundup Ready Flex conversion of PHY 78. Not being tested as an approved Acala.
PHY 755 WRF* New WideStrike and Roundup Ready Flex Acala variety with excellent staple length and strength. High yield potential with adaptation across San Joaquin Valley. Most similar to PHY 72.
PHY 725 RF* Roundup Ready Flex Acala variety with excellent staple length. High yield potential with adaptation across San Joaquin Valley. Most similar to PHY 72.
PHY 72 Top-yielding, most widely planted Acala variety in California.
PHY 78 Tremendous yield potential and excellent fiber characteristics. Well-adapted to northern San Joaquin Valley. Top-yielding Acala in Farm Advisors' trials in 2005.
